Brite Ideas Bulb Recycling was launched in 2012 to provide a mercury lamp collection site and disposal service for the state of Colorado after recognizing need for such a facility for contractors(electrical, general, HVAC) as well as business owners and homeowners to properly dispose of their mercury filled devices and universal waste. Since 2012, we’ve expanded into Denver and the Front Range as well as Durango and Steamboat. We currently work with municipalities, school districts, hotels, landfills, hospitals, recycle centers and marijuana cultivation facilities among others.

Our three primary goals are to raise awareness of the harmful effects on our environment and our health due to improper disposal of mercury light bulbs, to educate the community on which bulbs contain mercury, and to provide a mercury collection site and disposal service for the Roaring Fork Valley and surrounding areas. Brite Ideas offers multiple options for you to recycle your lamps and ballasts, such as on-site bins for easy collection as well as a pick up service.
